Friday, August 29th
Before school (7:10-8:00 a.m.): Academic help with Mr. Carr (library).
Academic help after school (3:25-4:20) with:
Mrs. Sanchez (room 305)
Mr. Carr (room 115).
The library is open until 5:30 today.
Sewing with Rosa, after school in the library. Earn community service hours by making fleece beanies for Mendocino Coast Hospitality Center.
The weight room is open after school until 5:30 with Mr. Deschenes.
Gaming Club: 4:15-5:00, room 115 with Mr. Carr. All are welcome :)
"Super Snacks" (free!) across the hall from room 120.

Reminder to students that ALL work permits expire September 1st!
If you have not already stopped by the front office to renew your work permits do this ASAP or else your CAN NOT work!
Yearbook Announcements
Yearbooks are on sale from now through August 31st at the lowest price of the year, $65. On September 1st, yearbooks will go to $75.
We've sold out for three years, so buy yours today, and guarantee yourself a copy.
PHOTOS NEEDED:
Did you travel this summer? If so, we would like a photo and possible interview with you.
Did you go to the 2025 prom? If so, we'd like your photos.
We will ask for photos throughout the school year, so please email them to: tlarson@fbusd.us
The free icon selection for personalization ends Friday 8/22/25.
If you received a form from Mrs. Larson, it needs to come back by Thursday, or you will not get your icons by your name.
Cross Country:
Monday-Friday: Practice will begin at 4:30 and end no later than 5:45. Meet at Room 310
Detention This Week
Detention will be with Mrs. Anderson Tuesday in the Library & Thursday in rm 301 from 3:25-4:15pm
College & Career Field Trip
Cal Poly Humboldt and the North Coast Career & College Expo (CCX)
We'll eat free lunch in the dining hall and go on a campus tour at Cal Poly Humboldt. Then we'll go to the Career & College Expo at College of the Redwoods where there will be over 60 college and career representatives/info tables and 10 workshops you can choose to attend. Free pizza dinner!
Tuesday September 9th
leave FBHS @9am return around 11:30pm

November 27th at the Coastal Trail.
